UPDATE – 11/13/2017 —- Well we finally got a truck, bought it from a friend who had been towing us around lately. Unfortunealty he passed away and his wife sold it to us. It is very nice and will suit us fine.

OUR TRUCK, 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, V-8 Vortec engine, 4 door, 8′ bed. Set up with factory, heavy duty suspension, heavy duty towing package.

UPDATE – 06/18/2016 —-YIP-EEEEE, We now own a 2017-Big Country 3450ts, and it was delivered to its new home base. It was a very exciting time. The two pictures below are of it at its new home.

WE DID IT, The heartland big country 3450ts is ordered.

On April 2nd 2016 we ordered a 2017 Heartland Big country 3450ts, which comes mandatory with the Big Country Elite package(which has the fireplace included) and the Big Country Independance package ( which has the new whisper quiet air conditiong system for the whole coach included). We also ordered the following extras. 3 Slide room awnings, 6 point hydraulic leveler system, convection microwave, Duel pane windows, motorized power reel cord, queen bed instead of the standard king, and finally the artistic ceiling beams. The unit is 38’4″ long, with maximum total weight of 15,500 lbs.

The unit totaled a little over $78,000.00 msrp and we were able to get a little over 35% off list, which came to $50,500.00 plus tax. We have been working with a great local dealer for the past few years and got a great deal. I will be his greatest salesman if all works out which I am sure it will.

To say we are excited is an understatement although its fells surreal and has not sunk in yet.
