They we’re white made of things like, mufflers and other car parts as well as machine parts, shovel blades, and pails to create a “community” of figures engaged in humorous scenes.

We found about these “Muffler People” and had to pay them a visit! It’s an unusual little neighborhood. It’s residents are composed entirely of spare metal parts, painted completely white, and performing a variety of little tasks. Their riding a bike, taking a bath, or in a wheel chair, their doing all sorts of things. This is “Creations from Mufflers,” a great a roadside art project.

The “Muffler People” were all over the place! What a great neighborhood it was. Thank you very much Floyd Johnson for your incredible masterpiece. We loved it!

We had a great stay at Cortez, Colorado as tomorrow the 26th we head out for another Adventure!
